Come on down!
Life Long Goals I want to be on a game show.  I think i missed the boat for jeopardy.  I've always thought my family would be great on family feud.  Price is Right would be sweet too.  I just think it must be so easy to get on those things since it's a new one every day.  If I lived near a studio, i'd go every day possible.

In the game of life, there is no stale mate.
Life Long Goals I was at the Roselius' this weekend and they had a chess board with carved stone game pieces.  The pieces were just some sort of tribal theme, with elephants, a monkey, and stuff like that.  I've always loved the themed chess boards.  I've seen peuter civil war sets, star wars sets, and a bunch of others.  So i want to make game pieces, i guess just out of wood...but maybe sculpt them out of clay or something...not sure.  But I definitely want to make a set.

A collection of collected collections
Life Long Goals Along the same mindset of the record rama collection, I want to have an awesome collection of something.  I've always had a streak of pack rat in me and a little bit of OCD organizer too.  I use to maintain a database of all my 6,000 baseball cards when I was a kid and I loved that.  I did the same thing with my movies, creating an online sortable/searchable list of everything I had with ratings and covers and everything.  I love that.  I'd like to take pride is something like that, and be able to display them too.  I've already mentioned thecollection of dirt/sand/water from around the world, but I've also thought about what other collections I'd like to have.  One was coffee tables.  Not that i'm particularly fond of coffee tables, because I'm not, but I like the unusual ones, like fish tanks, ones that look like a knight holding a shield, a board on the back of an elephant, interactive ones, etc.  Jay leno has cars and I'd have coffee tables.

WARNING: How to become as cliche as possible
Life Long Goals I'm going to put it out there because it's true.  I want to write a novel.  I have tons of ideas written down on note pads for stories and characters, but never really get beyond that step.  I'd love to write something like Palahniuk.  If worse comes to worse, I had an idea for a series of books, sort of like the "Whatever : for dummies" books.   It'd be something like "A local's guide to : Pittsburgh"  and it would contain all the underground info about the place that only locals know.  Sure it'd have the incline, primanti's, etc  but it'd also talk about the mattress factory, the O, student rush, when to get a tour of Heinz Field, all the running paths at schenley, places to catch live music, etc.  Details!  because of the potential of outdated information, a website would go along with it (of course!)  something like localeyes.com or localize.com and each city would be a subdomain, pittsburgh.localeyes.com

I claim this land in the name of ME!
Life Long Goals I want to own an island.  Pure and simple.  I want to own my own land to do whatever I want with it.  I remember watching TV one day, I think it was RealTV, and some guy in Australia had tied 2 liter bottles and milk jugs and such together for a series of time and he put plywood on top, then stole sand and dirt from the beach, and he built his own island/raft thing.  He had it tied to a dock at a marina, and it was like 30 square feet.  He had a little garden, a little hut with a hammock, and even a cat on the island with him.  He just kept adding on and expanding, and eventually the government made it officially an island.  I LOVE that idea.  I want to be that guy.  Can you see me down on the Monongahela River on my land raft?  SWEET.

off the dirt road
Life Long Goals i always wanted to take a trip across the world or country and get a jar full of dirt from each spot.  maybe build shelves in my house that had the map of the wall painted behind it, and on each shelve i'd put the jar of dirt from that location.  same thing foes for water from oceans and rivers too..

So you want to know how to whittle?
Life Long Goals

Besides the stereotypical retiring in a cabin in the woods and writing novels next to my 2 labrador retrievers, I want to widdle.  I want to make really cool wood carvings, like the type of things that can't physically exist if you didn't carve them that way.  Like the ball inside a cage.  I want to carve end tables and fish and anything i can come up with.  My mom's dad carved a few things, besides building model ships.  His model ships were very impressive.  I wish i would have taken better care of the one that I had.  I definitely want to be a hobbyist when i get old though.

Road trip
Life Long Goals I wan to take cross country road trips with my family every so often.  just like how we did in the 80s for caleb's make-a-wish trip and again in the mid 90s as a 10th year anniversary.  perhaps a 25 year?  i'd like to take interstate 70 or route 40 around the country.  ofcourse you have to do it in style with a large motorhome.

The wise man built his house upon the sand.
Life Long Goals So i designed a house when i was a lot younger, and It has always been a dream of mine to build it. Everytime i see something cool, i make a mental note to put it in my house. Maybe one day i'll scan the sketches of it. I will build this house someday.

words and definitions
Life Long Goals

It has long been one of my goals to create a word, and have it used publicly.  i want to say, "i thought of that word."  maybe see it in the dictionary, or see it used on tv or in a movie.  just to know that something went from my brain, to someone else's ears, to their brain, to someone else's ear, and so on and so forth, and the chain grows and grows.  there have been a few ideas for definitions and words.  i wanted to use biligualisms as meaning when you use two different languages in one sentence.  like "hola, how are you today?"  there are some others, i will add them here as i think of them

Winter and i were talking, and i said "moce" and i thought that it looked like a word.  and that it kinda looked like it would be italian.  but we couldnt think of a definition for it.  so i decided to moce (moe say) will be defined as a word without a definition.
